>If a booking is made on the date of the requested date of arrival. The full amount for the entire stay must be paid upfront. Further charges will be settles upon departure.

On arrival and during normal working hours the keys will be handed over to the customer after payment is done. Special arrangements must be made for key collections for late arrivals. During the day keep the keys with you but make sure the rooms and safety deposit box is locked. On departure leave the room keys with the caretaker after additional charges have been settled. Lost Keys or damaged locks.an additional fee of R1000 will be charged for the replacement key and gate remote.
Continental breakfast will be served in the dining area. Between 8:00am and 10am.The breakfast service has an extra fee of R130 per day per person.
>Smoking is strictly prohibited in the guestrooms

>Out of respect for our neighbours, Noise should be kept to a minimum

Switch of lights and air-conditioning when not in use, when air con is on please keep doors and windows closed for more efficient cooling. Ensure all taps are closed properly.
>For long stay guests we change the linen every 3rd day, if you request for the linen to be changed on a daily basis, there will be an extra charge
>Please do not use flammable for heating,cooking,candles in the rooms.
>Make sure the iron provided is unplugged.
>Cooking and eating food in the rooms are not allowed, rather use the dining area.
>Do not use the guest rooms for anything other than accommodation.
>Damaging of property or defacing any notice, walls etc. Of the guesthouse will be charged.
>Do not remove Equipent,product,item or service items provided for the stay. These include but are not limited to cushions,bedding,baskets ,soap dispensers,towels,equipment,hangers or information file.
>Report any shortages or equipment not working as soon as noticed.
>No unregistered guests without prior approval.
>The number of people is restricted to the number of guests as per the booking agreement.
>Management must be informed in advance if guests intend on receiving visitors as this will impact on facilities and other guests.
>Any visitors for guests who stay longer than 10 hours will be regarded as a day visitor and the guest that was visited will be responsible for payment of a full day fee.
>A safety deposit book is available in each room’s cupboard and instructions for use are in the cupboard. Management will not be held responsible for the loss of items.
>Please lock doors and close windows when you leave to prevent monkeys from entering as they will eat the snacks and damage the room.
>Please use the bins for disposal, No cotton buds, sanitary pads, tampons, paper or any other material may be flushed down the toilet.
>Guests have no access to rooms marked PRIVATE/STAFF.
>The living room, dining room swimming pool and braai areas
>Guests are encouraged to use the common areas for recreation while respecting our other guests and neighbours.
>All amplifying sound equipment such as musical instruments, radios, televisions and stereos should be played at a volume that won’t disturb other guests.
>The kitchen is strictly a private area foe hygiene purposes.
>No persons shall place refuse in or outside the premises except in the containers and/or in the refuse areas provided.
>Parking is available to all guests free of charge, 1 car per room.
>Do not leave any possessions in your car, Beach Retreat cannot accept responsibility for loss or theft of items.
>Please keep it clean and tidy.
>Please use this common area to have your meals, even take aways.
>Never leave the braai unattended once it has been lit.
>Please keep children away from the lit braai area.
>Swimming pool can be used from 10h00 to 19h00
>Guests may use the swimming pool at their own risk
>Diving is strictly prohibited as it could lead to serious injury
>No children under 12 are allowed near the pool without adult supervision.
>Keep the pool area clean and neat at all times
>Running in and around the pool area is prohibited as it can cause injuries
>Keep the noise level down
>The use of alcohol and glassware in and around the pool area is prohibited.
>Throwing litter into the pool is not allowed as it can cause the drainage system to block
>Only suitable swim ware can be used in the pool area.
>Management is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property, injury, disability or death arising from whatsoever reasons while playing in the swimming pool area.
>Please report any accidents or incidents to us regarding damaged property.
>We will hold you responsible for damaged caused to the property by your acts or omissions, default or neglect. By booking with us you agree to indemnify us and to pay us an amount reasonably required to make good or to rectify such damage or loss caused.
